Assistant with GPT Integration



Overview

The vFunction Assistant is ready to assist users with a wide range of queries and tasks. It can help in navigating the vFunction platform, finding specific information, or answering any other specific questions. This new feature will be continuously updated and improved.

The vFunction Assistant was added in Server version 3.5 and later.


Features of vFunction Assistant

The following are a list of Features:

  1. Direct Query Submission: Users can send queries to the vFunction Assistant directly from the interface, this ensures users receive relevant and timely assistance that aligns with their current workflow
  2. Response Handling: The Assistant strives to provide the most accurate and helpful information based on the context of your queries, focusing on data related to the users application and context
  3. Adaptive and Accessible: The chatbot panel is designed for flexibility, allowing users to drag and resize the widget as needed
  4. Assistant Management: The assistant is designed to work in the background and allow the users continue with their work until the response is back
  5. Enable/Disable the Assistant: Users can enable/disable the assistant directly from their teams’ configuration

Configure the vFunction Assistant

Take the following steps to configure the vFunction Assistant:

  1. Log into the vFunction Server UI as an Administrator
  2. Click the Person Icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select Configuration and Settings from the drop-down menu choices
  4. Select Configure Apps from the left-hand sidebar
  5. Toggle the slider next to GPT
  6. As desired, check the box to Share Information
  7. In the top-right menu bar, find an Open Circle which can be clicked to open the vFunction Assistant. Enter a query into the Text Box to get more details about any topic
