Forcing a new Full Analysis to be run

Overview

Some analysis operations done by the user, such as marking a class common, result in an incremental run of the analysis, while other operations, such as making a jar infra, result in a complete analysis run (full analysis).

Somtimes, one needs to force a complete analysis - for example, after changing the binaries for the static analysis (viper) and restarting the controller.

Steps

  1. Login into the vFunction Server UI
  2. Select Analysis in the top, center menu bar
  3. Select Configure Parameters from the left-hand sidebar under the Actions header
  4. Increase the Maximum Runtime by one percent, e.g. from 15% to 16%, in the left-hand column of the Configure Parameters dialog box
  5. Click Submit in the Configure Parameters dialog box
