Upload a Measurement to the vFunction Portal



Overview

The vFunction Customer Success Team may ask for a user to share a Measurement. This allows the vFunction Customer Success Team to import the Measurement in an environment where the Team Member can debug an issue or help in the modernization efforts.

The vFunction Customer Success Team uses a Portal to securely transfer these files without file size limits.


Steps

  1. Download the Measurement from the vFunction Server UI
  1. Log into the vFunction Server UI
  2. Select the relevant App from the top-left dropdown
  3. Select the Analysis tab from the top-center menu bar
  4. Hover over Measurements in the top-left corner
  5. In the dropdown menu that appears, select Download Measurement
  6. The Measurement will be downloaded as a ZIP file. In some circumstances, you may need to select Keep File within your browser if your vFunction Server is not set up with HTTPS
  1. Upload the Measurement to the vFunction Portal
  1. Log into the vFunction Portal
  2. Click on the Upload Files button in the Menu Bar that looks like a cloud with an Up Arrow inside
  3. Navigate to the ZIP file that was downloaded from the vFunction Server UI
  4. When the upload completes, the vFunction Customer Success Team will receive an automated email with the files that were uploaded
